So, I've finally gotten this to work, it's not even ported over; just a bookmarklet I've made. Click the icon on the toolbar or Sidebar from the current page, and it works the same way as putting in a URL into savefrom.net manually, except it extracts the URL from the current page.

I'm new to maxthon, where is the download button? actually I'm so new I can't find the toolbar?

reply to BrrownBearr: sorry about the delay: it's the toolbar in Maxthon3. In Maxthon Cloud 4, it's the sidebar. If you don't see the sidebar even, then try enabling it if not already enabled. To do this, you will have to go to the menu on the right-hand corner, drop down to Customize UI, and click on "Enable/Disable Sidebar." Hope this helps.
